Presses' Just come to hand the Australian Racing
Team is now signing Sponsors.
Due to the new addition of the
Online Catalogue we have decided to start signing on
Sponsors right now so all can take advantage of the huge savings on offer
"Exclusive to Sponsors". Although it's still a way off before the racing starts,
everyone can enjoy high quality products at cost price
NOW.
We would like to take this
opportunity to thank all of you who have taken part in this concept and for
working along
with us as we get underway as we need the support of all involved, for this
venture to be a success.
Note: The Australian Racing Team will be donating $2.00 from
each Sponsorship to the
Queensland Cancer
Fund.
Introduction
When we think of Motor Racing we think in terms
of watching others having extreme fun on the race track.
With the Australian Racing Team you can think
in terms of actual hands on experience.
When you sign up as a member of the Australian
Racing Team you actually become a Sponsor and as such you will have an
opportunity to be picked to actually race a "Scorpion
racing car", a purpose built racing car manufactured by Hybrid Motor
Sports. For more information on these cars
please follow the link.
The way it works is upon joining the team for a
nominal sponsorship fee you will be in the running for 1 of 120 packages which
will run over the course of 3 days, 10 times a year. This will include training,
practice and racing of a "Scorpion" with racing license, airfares
and accommodation paid for. The team will consist of 12 Sponsors
each meeting.
There will be 6 cars in the team and all
racing will be on the Gold Coast.
The package is as follows:
- 10 Training / Racing sessions per year. (February to November)
- Return Airfare to the Gold Coast for Sponsors chosen.
- Accommodation for Sponsors chosen and 1 Guest. (3 nights at the
Seaworld Nara Resort, twin share
with entrance to Seaworld all days, also the option to extend stay at Sponsors
expense with discounted tariff)
- 2 days training at the
Holden Performance Driving Centre with both Commodores and Scorpions. (for
Sponsor only, although guests will be welcome to sit in on lectures and
observe training)
- Half a Day racing at the Queensland Raceway. We will have the track
exclusively for the teams use.
- The top 12 drivers at the end of the year will be offered the opportunity
to race in one round of the current series that the Scorpions are racing in
for the following year.
We also have our Associate Member format. Where you may not be
interested in Sponsoring the team at this time, but you may be interested in
utilising the online catalogue, signing up as an Associate Member is the way to
go, this will be at a greatly reduced sign up fee,
simply tick the appropriate box on the application form and your in business. If
at a latter date you would like to sign on as a Sponsor, simply contact us and
we will advise you of what procedures you will need to take to do so.

The cut off point for Sponsors and
Associate Members
will be the 30 June. At this time 120 sponsors will
be randomly selected to race in the next years competition.
There will be a cap of 12,000
sponsors per year which will make the odds of being selected around 100:1.
Note: The cap doesn't need to be reached for racing to commence, lowering the odds
respectively.
This concept has something for
everyone, as well as having the opportunity to race there are other
benefits
also.
